As a member of the Real Estate Section, Spencer’s practice revolves around commercial and industrial leasing, which includes negotiating and drafting leases, subleases, and lease amendments in addition to ancillary documents such as assignments, estoppels, and SNDAs. In addition to leasing work, Spencer provides legal guidance to real estate developers throughout the acquisition, development, and disposition process, including negotiating, drafting and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, and performing title and survey due diligence.

Prior to joining Moye White, Spencer worked as in-house counsel at a Fortune 200 healthcare company managing a growing real estate portfolio exceeding 2,500 domestic facilities. Additionally, Spencer worked as a Landman at a land services company where he performed title research and advised clients regarding mineral ownership rights and curative requirements regarding potential oil and gas development sites.

In Spencer’s free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, following his favorite sports teams, fly-fishing, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
