Ed has been doing deals for over 30 years. He has a broad range of experience in business and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, licensing, and financings. Ed focuses on maximizing opportunities, preventing problems, and closing deals.
Ed has worked extensively in most areas of business law. His clients range from individuals and small companies to multi-national corporations. He strives to learn and understand the client’s business so the client can best utilize his services. Ed is an excellent planner and is detail and bottom-line oriented.
Ed forms business entities; plans corporate re-structures; prepares contracts and documents for the business’ day to day commercial transactions; drafts and negotiates supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, and service agreements; and drafts trademark, technology, and other intellectual property licenses.
He documents sales, mergers, and acquisitions in diverse industries (technology, construction, software, information, publishing, international products, and services). Ed is also involved in venture capital, debt, and equity financings.
Ed stays abreast of business law developments through his participation in the Colorado Bar’s Business Law Section Executive Council and as Editor of the Section’s monthly newsletter.
Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, hiking, and reading history.
