Amy is a firm partner and a member of Moye White’s Real Estate Section. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate, including acquisition of real estate assets, development, leasing, real estate financing, and dispositions of real estate assets throughout the country. Amy has represented developers in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development and disposition, borrowers in various real estate finance transactions, and both landlords and tenants with respect to office, industrial and retail leasing.
Amy’s specializes in advising clients with respect to the development, operation and management of all types of master planned communities and condominiums, including commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, specifically including community structure and formation under, and compliance with, the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”).
Amy also specializes in advising clients with respect to the development, acquisition and disposition of multi-family assets, including Section 8 affordable housing assets, as well as HUD financing for such assets. She represented one of the largest multi-family housing REITS in the country with respect to the acquisition and disposition of its assets around the country, including Section 8 affordable housing apartment communities.
- Represented multiple developers in connection with the creation of condominium and townhome communities in Cherry Creek and the City and County of Denver, including drafting declarations and related governance documents, creating purchase and sale forms for disposition of condominium and townhome units, and conducting ongoing administration of the declaration and homeowner’s associations for the projects.
- Represented a publicly-traded, Denver-based real estate investment trust in the negotiation, sale and closing of more than $163 million in sales of 18 apartment complexes located across the United States, including Section 8 apartment complexes.
- Represented a developer in the acquisition of raw land, development of industrial assets thereon, and subsequent sale of such assets in a portfolio sale in excess of $200 million throughout the southeast.
- Represented a publicly traded real estate investment trust in the acquisition of $423 million portfolio of shopping centers on the east coast.
