Amy is a firm partner and a member of Moye White’s Real Estate Section. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including development, leasing, real estate financing, and acquisitions and dispositions of real estate. Amy has represented both landlords and tenants with respect to office, industrial and shopping center leasing, developers in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development and disposition, and lenders and borrowers in various real estate finance transactions.
Amy’s specializes in advising developers with respect to the development of all types of master planned communities and condominiums, including commercial, residential and mixed-use, and in particular with respect to community structure and formation under the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”). She also counsels clients with respect to homeowner association and condominium association compliance with CCIOA, and homeowner association administration issues. She has represented the developer of Highpoint, an 1,800 acre mixed use community adjacent to Denver International Airport, with respect to the development of the community, the disposition of parcels located within the community, and issues related to the master association for the community.
Amy also specializes in advising clients with respect to the development, acquisition and disposition of multi-family assets, including affordable housing assets, and HUD financing for such assets. She represented one of the largest multi-family housing REITS in the country with respect to the acquisition and disposition of its assets around the country.
She has also completed many multi-million dollar transactions including representing a client in the acquisition of a $400 million - 26 property portfolio of shopping centers in Massachusetts, representing the developer in the project financing of a $200 million cheese production facility in New Mexico, and representing several owners with respect to dispositions of golf courses in Colorado and Nevada.
