Culture and history

For more than three decades, Moye White has maintained a progressive approach to the practice of law. Founded in fall 1976 by John Moye, John Head, Craig Carver, and Pamela Ray, the firm was originally called Head Moye Carver & Ray. Its emphasis was in the areas of litigation, real estate, and commercial law, a focus that continues to this day.

Through several name and partner evolutions, the firm has had a direct impact on Colorado law and Denver's business landscape. Moye was involved with both the John King Bankruptcy and the Denver Post/Bonfils Trust litigation--a landmark decision that impacted the founding of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Attorneys from the firm have written and developed Colorado business organization law, as well as new corporate, partnership, and limited liability company laws. In the process, Moye White has earned a reputation as one of the more creative and technologically advanced law firms.

Our corporate culture, which has defined us from the start, rewards vision, provides opportunities for individuality and invention, and emphasizes teamwork and open communication. We are guided by a sense of commitment and entrepreneurialism in everything that we do.
